During undergrad at Mississippi State University I was a graphic design intern at The Public Design Center

The PDC is a graphic design resource center. The work includes print design and web development. To that end, the PDC engages in capacity-building, research, classification, and exhibition. The PDC is a non-profit organization formerly located in Starkville, Mississippi and open to the public. In the summer of 2008, the organization relocated to Portland, Oregon.

As an intern I was involved in research, design, and development. I also participated in the inceptive aspects of The Center for Vernacular Typography. My concentrated efforts were in heading the center's efforts to establish screen printing by first teaching myself and then eventually conducting workshops.

My experiences while at the Public Design Center...
